Save subset

To open the Save Subset window, in the menu, click the floppy disk button that has a plus sign .

You can save artifacts as a new .xry file. This way you can save the relevant content in a smaller file for documentation purposes or for future analysis. The new .xry file is automatically encrypted upon saving. You can also protect saved files from unauthorized editing.

You can select Save subset from a case or a file. When you create a subset from a case, save subset will automatically create a new case including information about Persons from the original case.

Note: Saving a subset of a case is the recommended way to share a case where some information is redacted. In the subset, the redacted information is completely removed and it is not possible for the user to undo the redaction or in any other way view the redacted data.
